Working grant for post graduate students (doctoral students)
LUT Schools recommend yearly working grant for doctoral students.

Dissertation grant
Applications accepted continuously.
Postgraduate students may apply for a dissertation grant when their dissertation is complete.
The amount is 2000 euros.
The application is to include a copy of the degree certificate.
Applications are submitted to info@lut-tukisaatio.fi .

Grants for international research visits  
Applications accepted for the year 2026.       Still available some grant money!
The grants are meant for those leaving abroad.
Grants for outgoing researchers are meant to cover family-related expenses, such as travel and accommodation.

Travel grants
Applications accepted continuously.
Travel grants are awarded for international conferences and equivalent events which promote research and make the university better-known.
A favourable statement from the applicant's professor is required on the application form.
Attachments: conference brochure, budget, letter of acceptance (if available).
